Kindersley Housing Authority (KHA) is contracted by Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC) to manage and deliver specific housing programs and projects to the Kindersley, Marengo and Alsask communities.
Our aim is to improve quality of life and social equity by providing safe and adequate shelter for Saskatchewan residents. KHA is overseen by a volunteer board of directors that has four members as of October 2017.

Board Member Appointment:
The committee that nominates board members is comprised of the following: one representative from community—usually the town of Kindersley Mayor; one representative from the Province; and—if one exists—a Federal representative. Nominees must meet eligibility criteria. Nominating committee recommends nominees to the Minister responsible for Social Services. Board Members are staggered 2 and 3 year terms. The board delegates responsibility to the manager. The board then oversees monitors and evaluates the work, goals, objectives and outcomes. The board usually meets once a month.
